Summarize System Objectives & Specifications
II. Summarize System Objectives & Specifications (use data from above)
Specific Objective/Function/Task List
1) The Virtual Reality Simulator is designed to allow users to have a fun, immerse virtual experience that is similar to adventure activities and places found in real life.
2) The simulator is directed towards a broad range of user characteristics which is indicated by the different categories of the available virtual settings. The physical abilities that the user has to possess in order to operate the simulator are vision, motor skills, and a tactile sense. Additionally, there is a general age restriction of the simulator which is 10 years. Further, the Age Restriction for Virtual Reality Machines Act of 2030 specifies that certain virtual locations are restricted to users under the age of 18. Momentarily, the VRMA only applies to all virtual locations in the adventures category
3) The Virtual Reality Simulator is designed to primarily be placed in recreational business areas and movie theaters. One of the main constraints that is associated with the simulator is that it has a very low portability due to the various components that constitute the simulator. Also, it is recognized that some users will develop a low awareness regarding when he or she is experiencing reality versus virtual reality which could lead to negative consequences.
